Bekir Yener Yıldırım is a board member of Neo Asset Management and leading real estate investments.
Mr. Yıldırım is a seasoned professional with a prominent career in the financial and real estate sectors in Turkey built in over a decade. He started his career in the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB) in 1999. CMB has been the main financial regulatory body regulates financial markets, activities and products including real estate based assets. He worked in CMB until 2006 as an expert in “Real Estate Financing”, “Financial Services” and “Market Surveillance and Regulation” departments.
Mr. Yıldırım also held the Deputy Secretary General position at the Capital Market Association of Turkey (CMA). CMA is a self-regulatory organization empowered by Capital Markets Law and regulated by CMB. All brokerage houses, banks, investment firms and real estate and other investment trusts are mandatory members of the CMA. He was also the head of CMA’s Training, Public Relations and Licensing Examinations departments.
In relation to Mr. Yıldırım’s work on real estate, corporate governance and investment relations, he is in collaboration with many professionals, academicians and market players in Turkey.
Tanju Günel is founding partner and board member of Neo Asset Management.
Mr. Günel has held several senior positions in more than 20 years experience in Turkish Capital Markets. Prior to joining Neo, from 2011 to 2018 he was founding Partner of Bosphorus Capital that was one of the major independent portfolio management company in Turkey and has fully acquired at the end of 2015 by AZ International Holding a European based international asset management company.
Mr. Gunel was founding partner and COO of Osmanlı Securities a listing company in İstanbul Exchange between 2010 and 2014. He played a vital role in the establishment and growth of this companies and in this time has set up several hedge funds and mutual funds in various strategies.
Before Osmanlı Securities, Mr. Gunel worked at Takasbank (Turkish Central Clearing and Settlement Bank) as a senior executive and during this time led many important projects for Turkish Capital Markets. Prior Takasbank he started his career as a specialist in İstanbul Exchange Equities Market.
During his career, Tanju Günel held Board Member positions at Turkish Derivaties Stock Exchange, Central Registry Instution (Turkish CSD), Turkish Capital Markets Association and Vera Asset Management (Turkish licensed NPL Company).
Mustafa Doğan is founding partner and board member of Neo Asset Management and leading mutual fund investments.
Mustafa Doğan is an experienced and well known fund manager in Turkish Capital Markets. He was the co-founder and chairman of Bosphorus Capital until the company was acquired by AZ International Holding (Azimut) a European based international asset management company. He is currently managing Horizon Fund, his own fixed income hedge fund based in Malta established in 2011.
Mr. Doğan is also a co-founder and board member of Vera Asset Management company which is a licensed NPL management company established in 2013. Vera Asset Management is one of the market leader in Turkish NPL market.
Previously, Mr. Doğan worked at Bankers Trust Istanbul as the EVP in charge of pricing and risk management and at Dışbank as the EVP in charge of treasury.
Mr. Doğan holds a BA degree in Management from Boğaziçi University and an MBA degree from University of Indiana where he also worked as research assistant.
Emre Göltepe is a board member of Neo Asset Management and leading private equity investments.
Emre has more than15 years of private equity and corporate finance experience with a primary focus on mid-market deals. Prior to his role at Neo, Emre worked for Rhea PE for 6 years where he was responsible for deal sourcing, executing and monitoring of investments.
Prior to joining Rhea PE, Emre was a manager in Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance team focusing on financial due diligence across Turkey and Southeast Europe.
Emre holds a masters degree in finance from INSEAD and received a BA in Economics and in International Finance from Istanbul Bilgi Univerisity. He is CPA.
Mr. Ergin has graduated from Anadolu University with Bsc Economics and he also holds a degree in Securities and Capital Markets from Beykent University.
Mr. Ergin started his professional career at Aktif Investment Bank as an assistant Specialist in 2012. In 2013, he moved to Bosphorus Capital and held the position of Fund Services Unit-Coordination Manager after the company was acquired by Azimut Group in 2015. Mr. Ergin left Azimut Group in 2017 to join Osmanli Portfolio Management as a Fund Manager/Trader.
Since 2020, Mr. Ergin is part of the Neo Portfolio Management team as Executive VP & Fund Manager.
